Gerry and Henry Goldhammer

Gerry and Henry Goldhammer (’64) are important members of the Baruch College family in many ways. As leaders of the Florida contingent of Baruch College alumni and as donors and members of the Baruch Benchmark Society, Gerry and Henry are recognized for their commitment to Baruch College and its students.

Gerry is a teacher and knows the importance of education. Henry has had a very successful career, which he attributes to the educational foundation he built at Baruch College. Retired now, Henry works as a volunteer in the school where Gerry teaches. As their most recent commitment to Baruch College, they bequeathed a lecture hall in the Newman Vertical Campus.

The Impact of a Bequest

Gerry and Henry Goldhammer (’64) are using their will and a very generous bequest to make a gift of a lifetime to Baruch College. The Goldhammers took the further step of making their bequest by adding a testamentary contract to their will thereby solidifying and confirming their commitment.

A gift by will provides the donors an estate tax deduction that can significantly improve their overall financial plan for each other and their heirs. The technique that Gerry and Henry have chosen will very creatively benefit their estate at both the federal and state levels.
